Cruise Control Comm2000 Lexia in Northampton/ Warwick

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Cruise Control Comm2000 Lexia in Northampton/ Warwick

Post by 6speedmanual »

Hi
Enquiring if anyone in my district has a Lexia?
Northampton home. Warwick/Telford work.

I would like to install cruise control to my 2003 110 HdI.

I have checked:
The presence of the red connector for the extra brake light switch - OK
The Clutch pedal switch already fitted - OK
The port in the steering column Comm2000 unut with contact strips for the control stalk - OK

What I understand I need to do now is to read the ECU to check that cruise is available / can be enabled.

If all good, Install switches and control, enable and Bingo! :cheesy: 8) :D

I hope it is that simple!

So, if you have one and would be interested to help with this, I am happy to come to you and reward you suitably for your participation.

Cheers
Peter

Ah, good point *starts checking air fares and flight times*

Would it be worth asking on peugeot forums etc.? I reckon, providing someone has a laptop with PP up and running, and that all the wiring is in place, it'll take an hour tops (the hardest job would probably be sorting out the coherence), so maybe it would be ok to venture further afield.
