Got the dreaded APF warning.
Car starts and runs as per normal eg no rev or apparent performance restriction. The engine diagnostics warning light stays on permanently and the APF warning comes on immediately after starting then goes out after I drive off.
PP2000 doesn't show any specific fault and APF warning continues after I go thru the fault clearing procedure even though there is none indicated.
Is there a list of P fault codes anywhere within PP2000 I can refer to?

Re: Anti Pollution Fault
If you hghlight the fault on PP2000, press F5 i thnk (might be F6
) then you will have a page that displays the fault code and the circumstances when it happened.
Look on the knowledge base on the main menu page in this forum - there is a 'list of doom' which is all the fault codes.

Thanks GM.. Would you believe the fault has cleared itself and I no longer have the APF warning so it couldn't have been something life threatening. Old age maybe but this is the down-side of the 406 if the owner doesn't have accessto Pp2000. I have the P fault chart and the link may be of use to someone else..

That's where pp2000 comes good. It will tell you about any intermittent faults whether the engine light is on or notMalc wrote:Thanks GM..
