406 meter panel light when ignition is off
Hi! I just got a 406 2.0 gasoline sedan. About 1min after I turn off the ignition meter panel & ac panel light up. When I open or close the door panels are off and comes back on after about 1min. After 1 day my battery is also dead. What's your expert opinion on this. Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome.
I would look for water under the carpet on the right side front of the car - it may be dry on top but really wet underneath.
I would then do a BSI reset, which may help.
To do this you need to;
Unlock the car and open the bonnet.
Put the drivers window down and then lock the car - leave it for 5 minutes.
Disconnect the battery for another 5 mins.
Reconnect the battery and leave for 5 minutes before unlocking or opening a door.

Thanks for reply. I did reset the BSI but no luck. My mechanic say he will try to do a chip swap and check and if doesn't work have to install BSI unit with ECUGingerMagic wrote:Hello and welcome.
