2003 2.2 HDI wont start, engine ecu not reply

Hi everyone,

Firstly my engilsh is not the best... so sorry for that

Yesterday my car engine is cut off and after I cant restart them 2.2 HDI fullmux 2003.

When I turn on the ignition i didint hear the fuel pump.

Today i run a global test with PP2000 and I have a many fault codes in BSI and I cant communicate with the engine ECU.

Fault codes in BSI:

- Permanant fault. Absence of communication with the engine management ECU.
- Remote permanant fault. Coolant temp information. Incorrect value.
- Remote permanant fault. Vehicle longitudinal acceleration information. Incorrect value.
- Remote permanant fault. Vehicle speed information. Incorrect value.

Fault codes in instrument panel:
- Remote permanant fault. Engine speed information. Incorrect value.
- Remote permanant fault. Coolant temp information. Incorrect value.
- Remote permanant fault. Vehicle speed information. Incorrect value.

I tested tzhe fuses but all fuse is ok.

Hi, welcome to the club.

Your English is very good - better than some English people..!

I suspect that the in-tank pump may have failed, you should hear it every time, even with a warm engine - it also has its own fuse.
Sometimes it can be persuaded to work by gently hitting the fuel tank with your hand.

PP2000, try scanning the engine ECU separately, select the ECU from the menu ( Bosch EDC15C I think.. ) and you may be able to access it this way.

Thank you! I solve the problem yestareday. I find a broken wire that go out from engine ECU. Now the car works fine
