CD/Radio/SatNav Display problem - Any Ideas

Post by Gus »

Hi fellas,

will try to explaing as best i can if it not to clear will try to apend pics tomorrow.

On the display screen it is missing a complete line right across the middle - its black nothing at all, and it dont matter if its on CD/Radio/Satnav anything on that display - so to me it has to be something to do with the screen,##

is it easy enough to replace and easy enough to get hold of a new one?

Thanks

the liquid crystal has got a leak on that line and cant display properly, so you need a new display i know on the d8 the trip computer is in the same place, but its a lot smaller but that just needs gentle prying to get it out

Pop off the plastic cover panels at either side and theres a couple of screws, I think that's all that's holding it in. Keep an eye on ebay for a replacement.
