i am new here so bear with me I purchased an original car alarm for my 406 gtx and fitted it myself only to find that i could not get it to work and does not seem to have any power to it my question if any one can help is do i have to fit a relay in anywhere and were is it, or do i have to have anythig downloaded into the bsi I did check that it was compatible for the car it is suppose to upgrade it from cat 2 to cat 1 any ideas please
I have the full fitting instructions, if still required, for one of these CAT1 Peugeot upgrades (actually TEXALARM AVA 42) that still uses OEM PLIP.
Can you please let me know how you got on (in the end) as I'm having a dilema on getting an installer to price or even fit it so though I too might have a go !
