Post by Harshan »

Hi All,

This happened to me few hrs ago while I was driving my D8 it started hooting nonstop the horn. it was annoying to the crowd around 'n i got out from the car to indicate thats a problem. It was continuously honking for abt minute and i tried press the horn button and nothing worked. all of a sudden it was gone and now there's no horn at all.. any help ?? any suggestion to check? where the horn relays and horn fuses are located ? thanks in advance

Could also be the switch in the stalk - it would cause the same symptoms albeit on a different circuit. However the relay will be easier and cheaper to rule out so go for that first. I think it's under the fusebox, but I don't have a Haynes to hand sorry. If you haven't got a Haynes manual, you should really consider getting one :)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
