crap immobiliser

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

crap immobiliser

Post by vauxmad »

my wifes car has the key pad immobiliser, now the car was bought trade and the trader did not know the code so we have to faff with locking it and then starting it quickish else it won't bloddy start without repeatedly pressing the key fob.

is there a way of cutting out the immobilser?

Get the thing started flip the keypad down and (assuming the green light is on) take the keypad out and remove the plug with all the wires from said keypad - the car HAS to have it's engine running and the light must be GREEN

Worked for me when the wires on my keypad broke
