Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

hi i took the instrument panel out, it does have bulb holders in the back of it for the warning lights and the illuminations .all use capless 12v 1.3 watt bulbs. mine now work perfectly you need to use a pair of long nosed pliars to reach two of the bulbs due to the depth and narrowness of the recess, all others are easily removed with fingers. I think haynes need to get thier act together giving misleading info re some of the electrical info. the instrument bulb replacement being one of them.
