heter/climate display

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

If the general left or right hand side is virtually invisible, then it's a bulb gone. Not quick to change, I recommend doing all of them at the same time. Take the stereo out as well as the buttons and tray/trip computer panel to get access to the screws that hold the CC panel in (2 above it, 2 below). Same bulbs as everything else...

If however it's just the occasional digit or half-digit missing then I'm afraid you'll want to be making phone calls to breakers yards and watching ebay...

Sounds like the expensive option for me the, the whole display is bright, with individual digits missing!
Am I right in thinking there should be a graphic of a car in the middle of the display, to show what is happening? If so, that is missing!!

If it's a D8 (which I presumed from your sig), there's a picture of a car on the left showing external/recirc with 'AC'/'ECO' below it, then the temperature in the middle, with the vent mode on the right (screen, dash, feet, etc)

D9... check out a few ebay ads ;)
