electric window motor and rain sensors

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

electric window motor and rain sensors

Post by ed209 »

I have to replace the passenger side front electric window motor on my d9, would the motor from a d8 fit? :?:

I want to change the rain sensor on the d9 also as its a bit erratic and likes to go flat out in the mildest drizzle! Would tyhe sensor from the d8 fit the d9? :?:

My old d8 sits on the drive begging to be robbed of its good bits
I call her Starbug 1, because she's green with intergalactic milage!! I do love my D8 diesel.

I think the rain sensor is different on the D8s to that on the D9s. Mine certainly isn't the same as the D8 ones, but mine's got auto headlights too, the sensor for which is combined with the rain sensor, so that might be why it's different. If your D9 hasn't got auto lights then the sensors may well be the same.....

What I meant to say was..... errrrm....... dunno!
