Re: Immobilliser Query
Silly question, has the code been working and just suddenly started failing?
You only get both lights if you enter the wrong code. Disconnecting the battery will reset the system; I discovered this myself when I forgot the code on my old LX

i disconnect the battery for about 2 hours, still did the same thing, i got the same result by entering any 4 digits. i am really stuck, please help.thanks.
Re: Immobilliser Query
If you have lost the code, a replacement ECU may be required. The whole point of the keypad is to stop TWOCing.
Good luck

So you're definitely putting the correct code in which has worked in the past?nxtlevel2000 wrote:i disconnect the battery for about 2 hours, still did the same thing, i got the same result by entering any 4 digits.
Also, has the keypad been changed? This is coded to the ECU.

Eprom reader. There was a thread on another forum dealing with lesser pugs and shitrons that talked about doing a dump of the eprom and burning the content to change keypads.
Couple of links here and here
