Car had been left stood for 9/10 months after the owner died, the executer of the will wanted to get it fixed, but got quoted £500 to fix it, so they rang up a local Metal Scrap Yard, they don't 'officially' take in cars, so they passed on my number, and we agreed over the phone £70, because I wasn't told it was an X reg 406, I was told it was an 'old 405'. The executer just wants it gone, with the hope that something might be done with it.
I actually pulled up outside a house in the same street with a crusty old 405, realised i'd gotten the wrong house before I knocked on the door, mentally counted down the street to where I thought the house should be, and there was an 'old' X reg 406.
Shes up for sale now, missus doesn't like it, she wants to stick with the Mitsubishi Galant

I was wondering, seemed a good price for a none-runner that somebody couldn't be bothered to fix or take down the scrappies. Sounds like you're gonna turn a tidy little profit there, nice one. Shame about the Mitsubishi, tell you what, tie a Japanese flag around your head, yell "banzai!!" and drive it into a tree.
