406 seat stuck

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

I don't understand - do you mean the seat won't move or you can't stop it from retrieving a previously stored position? there's 2 memories.

Your problem is likely with the memory ECU which is located under the drivers seat. It may just be that a connector has fallen out of it... Also check your fuses

Thanks guys, The seat is actually stuck in one position close to the steering wheel wont even move, can only squeeze myself in. checked the fuses and also the connector under the seat but all seems fine. Can the ECU be the cause ?? is there a way i can disable it ?? am not interested in saving my seating position so far the car works well and the seat can move.

It might just be a case of disconnecting the seat ecu perhaps?

Thanks Guy, worked on the fuse, cable but eventually It was the ECU. Got a new one and all was perfect!
