headlight washers - how easy

How easy is it to retro fit headlight washers ? do any models come with it standard and would the bumper fit on 2.0 SE HDI estate ?

I guess it's the usual case of getting the BSI to play ball. You could get all the parts out the breakers but then it's off to the stealers for some wallet emptying.

Maybe you could do it the old-fashioned way, using two relays - the first supplies power to the second when the headlights are on, the second supplying that power to the motor when the windscreen squirters go. Looks like you'd still need another bumper though, unless you're extremely handy with a jigsaw...

...and have the ability to make a washer mount...

Need a bumper, nozzles, tubing, pump, new water bottle as well as the electrical/electronic side of things. And things will be more interesting if you've got an estate as there's already 2 pumps attached to the bottle
