Not content with falling apart on me and raping £900 of my hard earned my car has started to hint at a new surprise for me...
The In-tank fuel pump has refused to kick in 3 times this week and is sounding well grumbly on start up It's bang on the nose in terms of crapping out at 120K miles too
The engine light has also made another appearance so I'll have to change the throttle pot too
Good job I've got a sense of humour
Cars in my care:

Apparently my nan used to buy me some every time she had a win on the pools, I could be rich too! (More chance of papal hand relief )
Still, look on the bright side, crude oil is now 86.91 dollars a barrel! Looks like all the people that jumped on the "invest in oil and get rich quick at everyone else's expense" bandwagon caught a cold. All together now:
Let's see some reductions at the bloody pumps now!!!!

Can't see that happening any time soon! It's like they used to do with sweets - Mars, Snickers, etc. All of a sudden they're screaming "15% extra free" even though they're the same size. Then the promotion ends and you accept that 'normal' is 15% less than you used to get
Same with fuel. The price shoots up about 40% in a year, then stays there long enough that people consider a drop to "only" 130% to be good and normal... Robbing gits
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
