Re: external temp reading incorrectly
The sensor is located on the left-side wing mirror (it protrudes from the bottom of the plastic housing).
Mine doesn't work either; I either get "--" or some ridiculously high temperature (I recall seeing "78" before, and I've got my console set up to display Celcius ...)
I don't know about replacing it; is there a specific part number for it, do you have to get it from Peugeot or is there a site we can buy spares from online, and is it a bugger to swap it out?

I got one from a breakers but I believe it is available as a spare.highlander wrote:I don't know about replacing it; is there a specific part number for it, do you have to get it from Peugeot or is there a site we can buy spares from online, and is it a bugger to swap it out?
To change it you have to remove the glass obviously, then take out the motor assembly which will give you access to the sensor. I chopped the leads and soldered on the replacement to save having to strip the mirror down.

Yo teamster. Any solution to putting leccy mirrors in a D9 with the two dormant wires in the door yet?

Errr no. Not enough spare leads, you'd have to run 4 wires into the cabin; a live feed each for the motors and 2 for the temp sensor. If you've got the fancy exec mirrors which remember the position with the memory seats add another 4 to that! It's a b@stard. But a worthwhile b@stard!

Those 2 dormant wires don't go into the cabin from what I remember.
