I was just trying to get the casing but this would be the only option.
Now my RCL isn't working now as the rubber button came off over a year ago and I struggled on without doing anything as the word on the street is keys are £100 plus.
I've transferred the immobiliser chip (magnet type thing) into the new key and I'm using the new top on the old base (bit with key in it.)
If I'd have done this just a few weeks ago I could have jut transferred the circuit board from the pld case to the new one without reprogramming.
I've tried to reprogramme without success. (Mine is a D9 registered July '99.)
Advice may be that if your key starts to fall to bits get a new case quick. ?
