engine starting from cold

engine starting from cold

engine start from cold is a real problem . just about to fit new fuel filter and clean injectors on my 2ltr glx . do you think this will cure the problem

Do you mean that it's idling rough or taking a long time to actually fire up?

It's taking a long time to start up .it does eventually after about 20 seconds or so of key turning moments.

Sounds like fueling or sparks to me; also the TDC sensor has been known to go faulty.
Are the leads & spark plugs in good nick?

hi glx has just had new plugs supposedly and fuel filter so going to try them again see what happens .as for sensors never seen so many. wished i hadn't bought a petrol car.
