Hi, can any one help with wiring the elctrics for a tow bar on a 2001 406 estate 110 hdi. i have two sockets and would like to wire them both in. is t a big job or can i do it, i am ok with diy stuff.

You need to identify the wires at each side for indicators, brake lights, side lights, fog lights and reverse lights.
After you have got the main cables inside the car, split up the wires for each side and find a good earth.
Using scotch locks, break into the wires behind the lights at both sides, following the instructions that come with the tow bar electric plugs.
If you are wiring an accessory for a fridge, etc. you will need a single cable from a battery source through a fuse, if you are fitting a charging relay, follow the instructions that come with the relay.
Do this at your own risk.
