De-coking vs MAF. Where is the MAF?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

De-coking vs MAF. Where is the MAF?

Post by elnino78 »

Hey all.
I wanted to de-coke my engine and I know that when doing this you need to inject the stuff down wind of the MAF. Now my problem is that I can't find the MAF in my Haynes. Is it part of the throttle body and if so, can I spray the stuff down past the throttle plate thing with a small tube?

I have a 51 plate 1.8 petrol LX, D9. Also, anyone know the engine code or where I can find it? Would it be XU7JP4 or EW7J4?

Thanks folks!!! :cheesy:
