Hey,
I've just got a obd scanner and checked my car over, i have P0510 and P0380 displaying.
i've read that the P0380 is quite common and can be ignored
but what about P0510, the description says its 'closed throttle position switch malfunction' - what exactly does this mean for me and my car?
cheers
Matt.

Re: Fault codes on my car
Just found this which may help.....http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?c ... T_DTCP0510
In fact if you Google "peugeot 406 P0510" quite a lot of stuff comes up. I'm not sure anyone on here is an expert on Peugeot DTC's and in fact the code descriptions themselves can send you off an a wild goose chase without prior knowledge. Even the dealers get it wrong.
I know the trottle position sensor plays up and is a common fault (the one with the accelerator cable to it).
