Looking at HBol, feed comes via the stop lamp switch - they're only, 'live', when you press the brake pedal.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

does anyone know where the wiring for these connects to in the main loom as both of my front ones have had the wires cut or snapped and tried to trace it back as far as i could in the scrap yard and gave after undoing all the battery box and fues box and un wrapping the loom as far back as near the master cylinder on the pass side one!

and is the wires shielded due to the thick trunking on it?
