another electric window question

picked our 406 up last night and the windows were fine. even this morning they were fine but earlier i had the drivers window open and when i went to close it i pressed the switch and the window only went up about an inch.. had to keep pressing the switch and letting it off and repeating it to get the window fully closed.. is this a switch problem or relay? any one ever had this before ?

nope i havent .. but i can see where your coming with that one as the e36 bmw is like that. the one touch down is working which is the strange thing

sorted tried the trick of putting the window down and holding the button for 5 seconds then the same once it was closed and its now working.
cheers for that but also kicking my self as the E36 is the same idea to reset the windows br you need to do both
