multi function display (inc gps)

Right small problem with my multi function display which seems to got gradully worse, i have the odd line here and there with pixels missing, it seems to be worse near to the bottom of the display but sometimes i get a line going down vertical as well. Is there anything i could do to try to make it better as it can be very annoying at times....Thanks Colin

The mfd has taken a turn for the worse but i have located another one, the question i need to know is would it be a straight forward take the old one out and put the new one in or would it need setting up to my car (ecu etc)...Thanks Colin
