windows not work off c/locking.

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Probably if you'd have bought something "superbly engineered with a well thought out design" like a German Car they would go up...

But like everyone else on here, we chose to buy French which means "superbly engineered with a well thought out design", gets thrown out of the window in exchange for unique super special French engineering and design

So as soon as you sit in the drivers seat, conventional wisdom gets put to one side, and you enter the driving equivalent of the twilight zone...

Some execs (2.0T does, V6 doesn't) and some coupes have the automatic closure function. Some don't.

I'd have thought every model with a BSI would do it... before that it depended on the immobiliser wiring

No mention in the handbook, windows don't shut with the remote either. I think this comes with deadlocks (2-button remotes on D8s) but no mention of those either.

My D8 tubby exec had it, the D8 V6 exec didn't, and the D9 V6 coupe has it too 8)

I'm sure it was in all the handbooks...
