Hi guys here again my indicators have suddenly stopped without warning hazards come on ok just wondered if anyone has a fix or could point me in the right direction thanks in advance ....Rob
1997 406 2.0 petrol estate lx..D8.............OH dear where does this nut go?

Probably your stalk at fault. If it's a D8 or non-multiplexed D9 it's a cheap replacement, otherwise you're looking at a new COM2000 :(

Thanks for swift reply MJB its a 97 lx do I have to faff about with the airbag :(

No you don't have to touch the airbag :)
Release the steering wheel adjuster & pull the wheel out as far as it will go, Undo 3 screws in the base of the cowl and separate the halves.
The stalk is held in with 2 screws, dead easy job :)

Your best bet for a replacement is a breaker. Ebay tends to be a bit pricey for this kind of thing.
