Unidentified dashboard button

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Unidentified dashboard button

Post by Timsta »

Hi,

I've had my 406T Exec for a week now and all is well. I've fixed the passengers seat that wouldn't go back, and adapted my wiper stalk so it now has the trip computer button waiting to be wired up.

However, I'm a bit confused about this button on the right:

I've tried pressing it, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone know what it's for?

Welcome on in mate! :)
It's for silencing the alarm/disabling the alarm sensors.

Ah, ok. My key fob doesn't work, does the alarm switch on with the key fob? If so, I best get it fixed!
