Scrappy for fob - what else do I need - 1996 406 exec

Hi all

My fob has fallen to bits - microswitch dropped off and tried to solder a new one on but have fingers like mars bars - I have been having a ponder on my dillema - I need to go to scrappy tomorrow and he is as cheap as chips - could I get a new key/fob and the reciever and swap the pcb onto my blade and swap the reciever or do i need to take anything else - or is this just folly and I should just content myself with using the key in the lock?

Have found the info - get set of keys and reciever from glove box a\nd fit - do key in ignition trick and presto - thing is - what am i looking for behind the glove box?? black box, blue box, large, small?
