Climate Woe

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Re: Climate Woe

Have now had the condensor and pressure switch fitted and all seemed to work well, until this cold snap! I was told by the engineer that the compressor will not cut in if the temp is below 2*c, which seems very odd to me, my Pajero's air con operated in all temps, and when the aircon cuts out, the windows steam up quite badly. One thing I have noticed is the lack of condensate being dumped out, like my Pajero used to, and am wondering if the drain line might be blocked, can anybody tell me where I will find it to check, and also if the temp sensor for the compressor can be bypassed? I have yet to find any leaks into the car, which is making me think the car is not dumping the condensate. Please help!! :(
