seat removal when electric not working?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

A more useful picture would be of the fuse panel next to the BSI...

When you say all these fuse positions are empty, did you try adding a fuse? There is the possibility that the previous owner removed the fuse because maybe it blew all the time or they used it for something else.

Attached wiring diagram but I suspect it will not tell you anything new.

On mine, the seat fuses are where your 2x 20A Yellow fuses are...are you reading the fuse positions ok?

My fusebox is rotated 180 degrees but I guess that's because you're left hand drive maybe?

That appears to be this fuse panel

Note the unmarked spares on the left of the 2nd row.

Nothing I have matches up to the fuses I'm seeing there :frown:

Ah, didn't know that (crystal ball on the blink) I was hoping maybe you had found a diagram for yours.

Before I go off on safari, did you look on passion?

so i removed the fuses and swapped them and the passenger side still works fine. so that tells me that both fuses are fine. must be some where after the fuse block because there is power to both fuses as i check with a tester light.

thanks for your help Steve and Mark

any suggestions?

Hi I have just looked at Vivid Workshop & fuse 10 30amp is seat memory system & fuse 11 30amp is passenger seat & fuse 13 30amp is drivers seat. Fuse 15 20amp is also seat position memory. Give this a try. Iain

The quick answer gray if you're not sure is to lift every single fuse you can see one at a time and check it.
A pain I know, but at least there'll be no ambiguity.

what you guys have told me all checks out fuses are fine none are missing where they should be i have changed with other fuses that are good and still the drivers seat does not have any power to it, to the motors, the switches, the memory switch, or any junction under the seat. i have checked every fuse slot for the seats and there is power going to them. so there must be a break somewhere between the fuse panel and seat. but i cant move the seat to get at the bolts to get underneath it. im kinda stuck in a hard place  and have done a bsi reset as well
