Faulty fuel gauge reading!!!

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

I also find that parking it facing downhill on the one local garage with a sloping forecourt, seems to allow a bit more fill

Never trust the 406 fuel gauge, its shocking for accruacy!

I've had my car one minute read that it was on half tank and then depending on the angle of the car when you are driving, it will go up heaps, especially when the car is on an decline. Won't let the car get lower than 1/4 of a tank for my 2.0 petrol, just incase if I have to do the miles in an emergency and then realizing that I don't have enough petrol in the car!
