Re: Air Con Wiring Diagram
You are welcome, I hope you get it sorted. If you don't get anywhere, maybe I could fix something up for you.

Same issue here. I was told that it needed regas but the clutch doesnt engage at all. Just realised that it probably wont if the gas is low so im tempted to get some gas from Halfords and see. How does one know when it is 'full'? Im guessing the temp will be cold but there must be more than that?
Re: Air Con Wiring Diagram
late reply, but i haven't seen this possible solution yet...
so if everything is fine, no leaks and system is filled up the right way.
its most likely the relais on the BSI...normally you have to exchange it for a expensive new one, but you can fix it for around 2 euro....
take out your BSI, and remove the back cover., the relais is at top at the dutch writing "relais, spoel" ;)

at the front side you have cut out the plastic (removing the panel is impossible)so you can remove the relais and place a new one..
the relais i always use is a finder 36.11.9.012.0000 relais, but other brand relais will also work fine...

Re: Air Con Wiring Diagram
That's a really BIGhelp, axl, thank you
Would it be easy for you to indicate what functions are performed by the other relays
If you could post that information via a new post with something like 'BSI relay replacement', in the title, I'm sure it will save some of our members, (maybe me), a lot of money

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I have the 2004 version of the Autodata disc Bogbreath, pm me if you're interestedjasper5 wrote:When I first looked through Autodata for Bogbreath, I only found engine management data, everthing to do with Aircon wiring was greyed out, however, being bored, I trawled through Autodata and realised that if I set it for 406, all years, 2.2 engine ( I know yours may not be 2.2), but 2.2 is the only listing for complete wiring diagrams for the aircon system.
I would post the diagrams, but there is a lot of info that needs scrolling through, so, very difficult to transfer it to the forum, if there is a specific item, I could maybe post it, i'm not very good at doing that I might add.
If I were you, I would call in at a local garage and ask nicely if they have an Autodata book, or Autodata on their computer, then ask if they would print out the diagrams for you.
I knew the info had to be there somewhere, Autodata has tons of info for the likes of me that need it daily, that's why it costs an arm and a leg.
Remember, the wiring diagrams for Aircon are only visible using all years, Peugeot 406, 2.2 engine.
My version of Autodata isn't the very latest, so maybe the latest gives the info for all engines, I can't see it making any difference to be honest.
