Absolutely my dear fello. One rarely operates one's hooter in anger, moreover one would only hoot to warn other less-fortunates of one's presence!

(anyone else think there could be a new friday speak soon?)

No thanks, it's bad enough sitting here listening to my g/f trying to teach little kids to speak English...

D8: left hand stalk - hooter, right hand stalk - bugger all
D9: left hand stalk - pointless automatic headlamps, right hand stalk - trip computer. Hooter on steering wheel pad, along with scarey airbag thingy.

I never blow my horn at anyone, mainly because I can never remember where the damn thing is when I need it, last time I needed it I turned my automatic headlamps on at them instead. At least I'm not as bad as my dad, it took him forever to get over his R16 with column change and was always trying to change gear with the windscreen wipers...

To be fair the horn the 406 is pretty good, makes people take notice!
