Hi
Just got a '53 reg 406 110s, looking under the drivers seat there's no less than six electrical connectors, any ideas what these are all for? Also I did want a 406 with cruise, how difficult is this to retrofit?
Cheers

Re: Drivers seat electrics and cruise
Seat belt pre-tensioners, Electric seat adjustment, heater elements maybe?
Cruise can be retrofitted, a search on here should tell all. Briefly, you need:
Clutch & brake pedal microswitches + wiring, CC stalk added to your COMM2000, (the multi-stalk assy. round your steering column), and somebody who can to enable the option in your car's BSI. There is no actuator needed on HDi's the engine ECU can do the necessary once enabled.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)

2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
