Remote central locking & one-touch windows. And turbo boost.

Hello one, hello all.

My remote central locking doesn't work - never did since I got the car (1999 D8) though the physical central locking system works well. It's a 2-button fob. The bigger button is gone, but the smaller button is still there. When pressed the red LED lights up but nothing happens in the locking system, and I can't get the remnants of the big button pressed. The guy at Peugeot was going to run me £250 for a whole new key etc. Seeing as I only paid £375 for the car - no thanks! Not for a luxury. How hard would it be to do this myself if I get a new fob?

Second, I'd like to make the passenger electric window 1-touch, just like the driver's side. Possible?

And last but not least, a maybe more ambitious project - I'd like to install a turbo boost dial somehow. It's a 2.0L HDi, if that helps.

a turbo gauge just runs off one of the small vacuum pipes. i had a vac gauge running on an old car of mine (Non turbo) and i just tapped into the vacuum pipe on the inlet manifold.

Hi. I lost the buttons for my key fob and was also shocked by Pug prices. Went down to my local scrappy and found a similar 406 and took what i needed from its keys for £1 in the donut fund. Remember that other pugs have similar keys when looking.

There is a way of repairing the key for remote locking. Try searching on here.
