speedo clocks help

hi all im new to the site so hello .... i have just got hold off a 1999 treg 406 glx its a nice car all round but the clocks are playing up the milage keeps reseting the indecators on the clock deside when and when not to work and all the diels go on and off plz help as its doing my head in know

What do you mean by the mileage resetting? The odometer? That would suggest the cluster losing power; may be worth spraying and reseating the connectors on the back.
Also check the multiconnectors in the drivers footwell; this is a common corrosion point and can cause weird faults.

well i just got worse the comp it telling me that the oil press is low bbrake flued low clocks are telling me to STOP ....... ow teamster all the clocks are reseting do you still think its the wires in the foot well?

From the sounds of it yes I would check those connectors. Pull them apart and look for corrosion on the pins.

i have unpluged all wires under the stearing collem to no avell .... when in driving along the milage meter will just go <the one that tells you the engine milage > as it dus there is a noise from the fuse box when this happens the car starts to juder not to bad but noties able its like the car resets its self when im driving help me plz i like the car and whant to keep it but its starting to get on my t*ts now and will go to the scrap yard
