Drivers Side Electric Window

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Common enough issue the one touch feature wears out, the switch must be worn out, you could either buy a new one or perhaps someone else might have been able to fix it, they might reply later, But check that the switch unit is tight, take it out and make sure all the clips that hold it together are intact, otherwise you might need the new switch but they arent expensive out of a breakers, the trick is getting one without the same problem.

dont know if this works on pugs but its worked on a lot of cars where the one Touch window up and down feature aint working
so it may be worth a Try,

> ign on,
>make sure window is up,
> press the window button in the up direction and hold it until you here a click,
this shouid reset the window -mech, 8)

Dont know if it will work tho but worth a try,
iwill try it on my 406 tomoz outof curiosity :supafrisk:

The mechanism on mine sticks, and often takes many tries of pushing the button on it's edge to get the window.

Especially annoying as the entrance to the work car park is keycard activated.
