Whilst I was looking through my handbook for the engine fuse board schematic I came upon the dash layout page.
When I switch my engine on I get the AIR BAG light,a light Im presuming is for the passenger airbag bypass and also a car in a circle with skids behind in brackets.ESP? ABS?
My seats say they have side airbags in them yet I dont get the side airbag light come on the dash as it appears in the booklet. Is this because things changed from the book or should I have a side airbag light and need to check it out?

Re: Dashboard lights
no the airbag light, and airbag fault covers generally all airbag and seatbelt pretensioner issues. To check for seat airbags, feel the side of the seat where its beside the B pillar, you should be able to feel a distinctly hard area where the airbag is, i seen no other form of side airbag indication in my car.
Re: Dashboard lights
Righto cool.Ive never took any notice tbh honest and Ive had it over 4 years!
On the b pillar side of my seats ive got a plastic label that says air bag on it about three quarters of the way up the seat.
