brake lights stay on.

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

brake lights stay on.

Post by billyboot »

would like to share this problem i had with brake lights.
my brake lights would flicker on and off as i was going along in car and if someone sat in back seat they would stay on all the time.found out what was wrong.the switch at the top of the brake pedal had come out.you have to take off the bottom panel near the pedals.its a bit awkward.i had to lay on my back with my head in the foot well and my legs resting upside down on drivers seat.using a torch and some long nose plyers you just get hold of the switch with the plyers and put it back in its housing.hope this is of some help to someone who has this problem. regards billy

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.
