The orange plastic on my cigarette lighter has broken, so it doesnt hold in place. I thought, "they'll be easy to find on eBay"
but no.
I want one like THIS:
but with the orange plastic around it of course.
the ONLY ones i can find on ebay look like this:
and they're useless to me. can anybody help? i posted in the for sale/wanted section aswell but thought this is more likely to have people looking at it.
i got an email yesterday listed as peugeot 406 breaking, the specific item he was breaking was this part.
I broke the orange thing on mine also, used a bit of superglue and its ok now, but i dont know how to get the orange thing back into the hole if i got a new one.
Its an awful design, and its placed in a really silly position. Why didn't they put it beside, or in front of the ashtray.
I'm thinking of adding a 2nd lighter socket (it'll be in front of the ashtray), Its not because I want to smoke 2 fags at a time, its just that the existing lighter socket is not convenient placed for plugging a sat nav into it.
My cigarette lighter wasn't working, after a lot of faffing about to get the damn thing out, it was pretty easy to see why it wasn't operating. Someone had obviously had to disconnect the wiring to it for some reason, but couldn't be bothered with all the hassle of connecting it up again afterwards.

I also find it on eBay but i didn't find this one. I think it is missing or something. So where i can get this one which is shown in the picture?
