D9 front fog light fitting,

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

you will need lozz.

1. a set of front fogs and fitting brackets (dont do what i did and leave the fitting brackets on the donor car - had to drive 35 mile again to get them haha)
2. a new indicator stalk with front fog controll
3. a relay (this plugs in a slot right under the steering wheel)

the 2 fuses will probably be in place.

this is proving to be a very interesting and useful website!

Theoretically speaking, I would like to install front fog lights on my D9 (1999 Peugeot 406 HDi 90) and have followed this thread, but my fuse box appears the have 2 relays sockets but looks different to the one in the photo in this topic, apart from testing the socket for continuity between the foglight wiring (would that already be taped up behind the bumper and blanking plastic?) how would i determine which of the 2 sockets is the correct one or is this the wrong fuse and relay board altogether for the fog light socket?

thank you for your help in advance.

Right Err, update:
today iwent to the Breakers to get some front foglights,
they only had one, so didnt get any there other yards didnt have any,

D9 foglights come with the brackets built into them no springs etc.
the d9 fuse box is totaly differnt to the d8s ,

d9 needs a small relay,

chap at the yard explained all this to me hes pretty clued up on 406s,
iended up coming home with a lovely black interior so its not been a wasted journey 8)

oh yeah he showed me how to fit rear electric windows too. its Simples that will be my next job lol,
