trip computer installation

Hi, i installed tripcomputer to mine d8 -97 v6 using these instructions. All functions is working propely, but km/ to refueling is not working right. It says like 500-560km left with full or allmost empty tank. When fuel light goes on (tank is "empty" it says --- . Whats wrong?

Sorry to bring back such an old thread.

I've still not got my estimated fuel range working.

Can anyone that has worked on a trip computer please tell me if wire 4310 is 12v when the fuel warn light comes on or is the wire 0V.
