hi can any1 tell me the best route 4 the wiring and also which of the wires on the back of the light are for which bulb thanks dan

Firstly some More info might help.

:What make of tow bar are you fitting,
:Are you wiring up single or Double electrics?
:Estate or Saloon..?
post up the Make of the Tow bar & iwill see if ican find you a (PDF) Diagram of the wiring,

hi its a 99 1.8 saloon and im just wiring a single socket. I think its a 7pin will check also not sure on tow bar make how can i tell. Got it 2nd hand thanks dan

Hi best Route wouid be,
through the passenger side Rear corner, pull back the storage thing where the Cd changer sits and you shouid find a Gromet in the corner, thats how mines wired,

it be just a case of looking at what colour wires go to the indicators Side lights /break lights shouid be easy enough to work out by looking at the wiring going into the clusters,

Youd be best Adding a fused link to all live feeds to imho

thanks 4 the help managed to sort out yesterday i used a headlight bulb an some wire to work out which wires to chop into all good thanks dan
