The mist ones are only suitable for the coupe as they sit on top of the bonnet
whereas the saloon and estate ones sit underneath

D8s have the squirters with two jets, D9s have misty squirters (I'm sure there are some D8.5s that break this rule).

I'm not sure whether they are interchangeable -- it depends how the squirter clips into the underside of the bonnet and attaches to the rubber pipe.
Edit: the clips look different to me: squirty | misty.

The two-jet-type-squirters are most easily aimed by using a pin in the end of the jet.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

I had that problem :cyclops:
A new squirter fixed it.

What happened with the ones on my D8 was they got blocked, I pulled them off to blow them out and the clips on them broke  So I tried the mist jets off of my D9 as it wasn't doing much at the time (fegging registration bastards  ) and they fitted fine. The only trouble is you can aim the D8 ones with a pin, the D9 ones are fixed and wash the bottom of the screen lovely
