Possible electrical gremlin in Tailgate?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

+1 had to fix several snapped wires in the loom around my bro's tailgate hinges. His started with number plate & HRW problems, but when we looked at it, most of the cables had either snapped or were close to it.

Hi guys thanks for the replies the reason my remote doesnt work is that the buttons are buggered will check the wires as the rubber grommet they go through has come out of its hole ,the wires seem ok but they are a bit tight in there will get the tester out now I have more time.Regards ...Rob
