Air Bag Warning Light Stays On

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Air Bag Warning Light Stays On

Post by panadero »

I have just cured this problem by fairly indiscriminate fiddling with those wiring connectors under the front of passenger seat (SE110 HDI 2004 model). I did
this following helpful advice previously recorded on this site. For information, although this fault now comes under the MOT (as of Jan 2012)
my understanding is that it is only an advisory until March 31 2012. Many thanks to past contributors who have highlighted
this fault and the remedy for it.

You ever listen to the Scott Mills show on Radio 1?

They do a feature once a week called "Innuendo Bingo" - listeners send in audio clips lifted from various radio and TV programmes that sound a bit "oo-err". The idea is that you hold some water in your mouth while the clip is played, and if you end up laughing and spraying water all over the place, then you lose - if you don't, you win. It can even be played as a duel, with two (or more) players sitting facing each other (this is best). There's some clips of it on YouTube, pretty funny stuff - might appeal to your sense of humour!
