Noise from blower

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Noise from blower

Post by OdinEidolon »

Hi all, I have a bad noise coming from the blower when it stops, starts or while there is a hard acceleration (fast bends).
What could it be? Could I solve it with some WD40? Or do I need a new blower?

Can I access it from under the pollen filter?

thanks in advance!

Hi odin,
Remove the pollen filter, and check for things that couid of been sucked in,
EG. leaves off trees etc,

The Fan blower is easy enough to remove but ithink removing pollen filter is the best aproach, atleast you can clear (Muck-leaves-everything out that way withought it all ending up on the floor of the car,

Ok, thanks, I'll do. I fitted a brand new filter on september so it should still be fine.
Is the blower removed from the pollen filter area or from under the passenger's seat?
