Driver's Headlight light height problem

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Driver's Headlight light height problem

Post by RayneR »

Well, about 30 minutes ago i was at mechanic to adjust the light which was pointing very down, and the problem is that the adjuster as reach it's limit and the light's height it's still not so good, now he said that the best option would be finding another adjuster ( the automatic adjuster which is also the manual adjuster ) that have a more long course... or finding a manual one...

The headlight we are talking about is an aftermarket DEPO headlight made in china ( this says it all ).

But is there any other thing i could try to make it aim more up ? Maybe the headlight is not very well configured inside where the automatic adjuster goes in ?

Thank you.

You could try making the mounting holes bigger and reposition the headlight.

Is that possible ? I think it can't move any further than the normal place, and by the way what about if i want to fit another headlights, then the holes wont fit them ..

thank you for suggestion.

So anything else guys ?

thank you all

Well, I tried....take out the top mounting bolt and try to move the top of the headlight backwards and you will see what I mean.

The bigger holes would be in your existing headlight.
