Post by codgod »

hi folks,im starting to get trouble with my central locking.it will not lock when i press the button all i get now is 2 clicks which tell me the doors aint locked,it has been playing up for a while now sometimes it would work then it wouldnt, now i have to use the key all the time.ive looked at the striker bolts and nothing seems to be in the way.any ideas?
also my memory seat only works manually when i put the ignition on,which is a pain in the arse cause i have to try and sqeeze into the seat after the missus has driven it.it used to work fine before i could just press button 2 when standing outside the car and it would set for me,any help would be grateful.406 110 hdi exec estate.thanks steve.

Hi Steve :cheesy: Sounds like one of the door switches that tells the BSI the door is closed isn't. I'm not sure if there's an easy way of finding out which (anyone?)

Might be a blown fuse on the seats :?
